The company originated in the Riverina District of Southern New South Wales in the early 1930s adjacent to the Flour Mill in Narrandera.
In 1955 the companies activities extended to Queensland and during the subsequent years has serviced both domestic and overseas markets with a complete range of compound stock feeds and feed ingredients.

In February 1998 the company was re-structured with the involvement of Mitsubishi as a shareholder. This association has assisted in expanding markets both within Australia and overseas.

Riverina Currently operates feed mills in Brisbane, Warwick and Casino as well as trading branch offices in Kingaroy, Oakey and Yanco.

With offices strategically located in the grain producing areas of South East Queensland and New South Wales the company has a strong link with the farming community for the acquisition and distribution of agricultural produce.

During 1995 a Suspension Supplement Plant was established on the Warwick Industrial Estate adjoining our existing feed mill. This addition to our feedmilling base introduced new technology in the preparation and feeding of animal supplements. This plant services the feedlot industries in Eastern Australia providing an extensive range of liquid supplements.

A Modern Feedmill in Casino, New South Wales was commissioned in early 1997. This further strengthened our manufacturing base as intensive animal feeding moves into more traditional rural areas.

In July 1999 the Australian Meat Trading activities of Mitsubishi were assimilated into the company. Sales of Chilled and Frozen Meat encompass Japan, Korea and the U.S. markets.

The Head Office is located in West End, Brisbane, where in addition to General Management, the Commodity Trading Division co-ordinates the export activities of the group.
